We’re partnered with a busy, high-energy Asian-American restaurant in Washington, DC looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to join their leadership team.
This is a fun, vibrant concept with a strong cocktail program, busy dining room, and energetic atmosphere. We’re looking for a hands-on hospitality leader who loves being on the floor, developing people, and creating a great guest experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the General Manager with all day-to-day restaurant operations
- Leading service and maintaining strong hospitality standards
- Coaching, mentoring, and developing the FOH team
- Supporting hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management
- Managing service flow and communication between FOH and BOH
- Building relationships with guests and creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere
- Supporting labour, sales, and key operational metrics
- Handling guest concerns and ensuring a positive resolution
What We’re Looking For
- Previous AGM, Restaurant Manager, or strong FOH leadership experience
- Experience in a busy, full-service restaurant
- Strong people leadership and team development skills
- Beverage and cocktail experience is a strong asset
- Hands-on, energetic leadership style
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations and service standards
