Assistant General Manager
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Salary: $75,000
An exciting upscale steakhouse in Phoenix is looking for a driven and hands-on Assistant General Manager to join its leadership team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career, with a clear pathway toward becoming the General Manager.
The Role
Working closely with the Operator, you will support the day-to-day running of the restaurant while developing your leadership and business management skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing daily FOH and BOH operations
- Leading, coaching, and developing the team
- Maintaining high standards of service and guest experience
- Supporting hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
- Managing labor, inventory, and operating costs
- Supporting P&L and financial management
- Taking ownership of the restaurant in the Operator’s absence
What We’re Looking For
- Previous restaurant management experience, ideally in upscale, fine dining, steakhouse, or high-volume restaurants
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Solid understanding of restaurant operations and financials
- A hands-on approach and passion for hospitality
- Someone ambitious who wants to progress into a General Manager role
