The Senior Treasury Manager will play a key role in maintaining the financial well-being of the organisation by overseeing its investment strategies, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Description

Key Strategic Responsibilities:

  • Ensure sufficient funding is available to support all business functions.
  • Develop and implement both short-term and long-term funding strategies.
  • Improve treasury reporting and enhance cash flow forecasting processes.
  • Optimise interest costs and maintain a cost of capital below industry benchmarks.
  • Secure financing to support new projects and growth initiatives.

Key Corporate Responsibilities and Objectives:

  • Support the development and execution of the group’s funding strategy.
  • Act as a key advisor on financial planning and strategy committees.
  • Assist in capital markets funding initiatives for regulated operations.
  • Oversee treasury operations, ensuring adherence to key controls and policies.
  • Enhance cash flow reporting across all corporate entities.
  • Optimise interest income on available cash reserves.
  • Support financing efforts for non-regulated business activities.
  • Establish and implement a robust treasury and financial risk management framework.
  • Efficiently manage daily cash balances to support business needs.

Profile

What you bring to the table:

  • Demonstrated experience in treasury or corporate finance, preferably with large debt or asset driven organisations
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with a strategic approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial systems, reporting tools, and data analysis software.
