Overview
Medacs Healthcare is currently looking for Senior Renal Nurses for a permanent role based in Tasmania.
The role:
* Clinical Nurse Consultant – Renal Services
* Working in partnership with Consultant Nephrologists, Nurse Unit Manager, Haemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis Nurses and the multidisciplinary team to ensure quality nursing service and patient management in a satellite Renal Unit.
* Provision of clinical nurse consultancy on all aspects of clinical practice involving renal replacement therapies and act as a role model and expert clinician in the clinical setting in accordance with best practice.
* Provide clinical leadership and coordination, in collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager for haemodialysis and home therapy nurses.
Salary:
* $114,851 to $121,886 per annum.
* 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
* Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type

Requirements:
– Bachelor degree in Nursing obtained in the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia or New Zealand
– Current certification through AHPRA as a “Registered Nurse”
– Must have a minimum of 2 years post-BSc experience plus at least 1 year in Renal Unit.
