As a Senior Management Accountant based at the Leeds head office, you will play a key role in supporting financial performance and driving operational improvements across the business. You will lead and develop a team of 8 while working closely with senior stakeholders and operational managers.

Description

  • Prepare and review management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Analyse financial data to support strategic decision-making processes.
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting activities for the organisation.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure financial stability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes.
  • Provide insights into cost control and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Support senior leadership with ad hoc financial reporting and analysis.

Profile

A successful Senior Management Accountant should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in financial reporting and management accounting within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • The ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to stakeholders.
  • Proven management experience.
