As Senior Credit Controller, you will take ownership of managing overdue accounts, minimising credit risk, and driving efficient debt collection processes.

Description

Key responsibilities of a Senior Credit Controller:

  • Manage the full credit control cycle, including credit risk assessment, invoicing, and collections
  • Effectively managing customer payments
  • Liaise with customers to resolve disputes and negotiate payment plans
  • Prepare regular reports on aged debt analysis for senior management
  • Collaborate with sales and finance teams to support credit policies and procedures
  • Identify and escalate high-risk accounts and recommend appropriate action

Profile

The successful Senior Credit Controller will have:

  • Proven experience as a Credit Controller

  • Strong knowledge of credit control processes and relevant legislation

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and work under pressure

  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel

  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills

  • Confident in dealing with challenging customers and situations
