Private Client Lawyer
Gloucester

Our client have a strong presence and reputation in the Gloucestershire market and are seeking an experienced Private Client lawyer to provide comprehensive services related to Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts, and capacity issues, including deputyship. This role also involves advising on contested Lasting Powers of Attorney and deputyships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial consultations and client triage as needed.
  • Prepare Wills and provide advice on Trusts, capacity, and Inheritance Tax.
  • Advise on and handle applications and registrations for Lasting Powers of Attorney.
  • Provide guidance on Trusts and prepare relevant Trust Documents.
  • Advise and liaise with clients on contentious probate matters and deputyships.
  • Manage ongoing cases effectively.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop the department.
  • Mediate and negotiate in contested matters.

Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing their workload and responsibilities, prioritising tasks, and meeting deadlines consistently. The successful candidate is expected to have over 2 years of PQE (or equivalent) and experience with exceptional IT and communication skills.

Job Tenure: Permanent and Full-Time
Salary: £36000 – £60000 per annum
