As a Group Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial reporting and ensuring compliance across the organisation. This position in the data space, based in London, requires a detail-oriented professional with expertise in accounting practices e.g. IFRS 15/16.

Description

  • Prepare and consolidate financial statements for the group in compliance with relevant standards.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial compliance policies.
  • Support audit processes by liaising with internal and external auditors.
  • Collaborate with regional finance teams to standardise reporting practices.
  • Assist in the implementation of new financial systems and tools.

Profile

A successful Group Accountant should have:

  • A professional qualification in accounting (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in financial reporting and consolidation.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS 15 & 16.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
