Description
- Lead on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, providing valuable insights to senior stakeholders.
- Prepare management accounts and oversee month-end and year-end processes.
- Act as a strategic business partner, helping leadership teams make informed financial decisions.
- Oversee Value for Money (VFM) initiatives, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies.
- Ensure strong financial controls, reconciliations, and compliance with policies.
- Support process improvements and implement system enhancements.
- Be the first point of contact for external auditors, ensuring smooth audit processes.
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to drive financial performance and strategic initiatives.
Profile
Who We’re Looking For:
- Qualified accountant (or finalist) with experience in management accounting and finance business partnering.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial control expertise, including trial balance preparation.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence senior leaders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft finance systems and strong Excel skills.
- A proactive mindset with a track record of driving efficiencies and process improvements.
