Description
This is a busy and varied role, covering a variety of business aspects including finance, business support and health & safety. The majority of the role will focus managing financial operations including reporting on budgets, ROI analysis, growth forecasting grant income management and payroll, however there will be responsibilities of managing a small team and overseeing health & safety aspects for the organisation. Additional responsibilities will include:
- Oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with statutory legislation.
- Develop financial strategies and implement budget plans.
- Provide financial advice and support to different departments.
- Monitoring all accounting procedures, identify areas of risk and to resolve any problems,.
- Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes.
- Lead and develop a team of business support professionals.
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making at the senior management level.
Profile
A successful Finance Business Manager should have:
- Relevant qualifications in finance or accounting.
- Experience in managing financial operations in a not-for-profit organisation.
- Strong knowledge of financial legislation and compliance regulations.
- A flexible, adaptable approach and willingness to support colleagues in different departments.
