Global Medics is partnering with the Central Coast Local Health District to recruit a Staff specialist/Consultant Psychiatrist in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.

The key responsibilities for the role:
* Provide clinical leadership to the team and ensuring the smooth, efficient and effective operation of the service.
* Provide clinical governance to the team including expert psychiatric care and advice to young people and their families of CYMHS.
* Provide professional leadership in the area of Mental Health within a multidisciplinary environment and clinical leadership in clinical meeting such as MDT care reviews.
* Psychiatric assessment, treatment and management of young people and their families.

Essential Selection Criteria:
* Coming from the UK -  Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) and a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), awarded under any RCPsych curriculum from August 2007 to date following satisfactory completion of a General Medical Council or Postgraduate Medical Education and Training Board approved specialty training program in psychiatry in the United Kingdom.
* Other Countries – Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or equivalent
* Demonstrated clinical skills and experience working with mental health problems in Adult Mental Health
* Demonstrated experience and ability to work effectively as part of multi-disciplinary team
