Description
- Develop and optimise CNC programs to support efficient production processes.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to create accurate machining instructions.
- Set up and test CNC machinery to ensure proper functioning and adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to improve manufacturing processes and reduce waste.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment when required.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all machining operations.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to CNC programs and production workflows.
- Provide technical support and training to machine operators as necessary.
Profile
- Proven expertise in CNC programming within the industrial and manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, CAD/CAM software, and machining processes.
- Experience with setting up and operating CNC machines, ensuring precision and accuracy.
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards in an engineering and manufacturing environment.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot CNC equipment effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills to manage production workflows.
