Role – Assembly Mechanic
Location – Christchurch, Bournemouth
Pay Rate: £18.07 p/h (No Apprenticeship) or £18.41 p/h (Apprenticeship Served)
Hours – Full time, 37 hours per week.
Shifts – Day shift, 7am – 3.30pm
About the role
The we are looking for assembly mechanics to join our team. You would be responsible for Constructing, maintaining, testing mechanical equipment, machinery, and components. You will Identify parts for replacement and machines that need new parts and places orders as necessary.
Qualifications & Skills
- Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of speciality.
- May require related experience and able to show proven capabilities in the field or in a related area.
- Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Works under immediate supervision.
- Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgement.
- Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: Full BPSS* Screening (*Baseline Personnel Security Standard), including proof of Legal Right to Work, Criminal Records Check, i.e. UK DBS and Drugs Screening.
Job Tenure: Contract and Full-Time
Salary: £18.07 – £18.41 per hour + Depending on Experience
Location: Bournemouth, Dorset
