Bar Manager / Mixologist
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Salary: $37,000 + Bartending Tips
An exciting upscale steakhouse in Phoenix is looking for an experienced Bar Manager / Mixologist to lead its beverage program and bar team.
This is a hands-on leadership role — you’ll be behind the bar, earning tips while bartending, while also taking ownership of the day-to-day operation and performance of the bar.
The Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead, train, and develop the bartending team
- Work bartending shifts and deliver an exceptional guest experience
- Maintain cocktail quality, consistency, and presentation
- Support cocktail development and beverage program improvements
- Manage inventory, ordering, par levels, and beverage costs
- Ensure the bar is fully stocked, organized, and service-ready
- Build relationships with guests and drive repeat business
- Support hiring, training, scheduling, and team accountability
- Oversee opening and closing procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Strong professional bartending and mixology experience
- Previous Bar Manager, Lead Bartender, or beverage leadership experience
- Excellent knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, and beer
- Experience with inventory, ordering, and beverage cost control
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Hands-on, organized, and highly detail-oriented
- Experience in upscale, high-volume, fine dining, steakhouse, or craft cocktail environments preferred
- Evening and weekend availability
