Salary: $70,500–$80,000

I am hiring on behalf of a luxury property in Menlo Park, California, seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee daily housekeeping operations and ensure consistently high standards across guest rooms and public areas.
This is a hands-on leadership position for an individual who understands luxury hospitality and can effectively lead a housekeeping team while maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and guest service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations and team assignments.
- Supervise, coach, and support housekeeping associates and supervisors.
- Inspect guest rooms, suites, and public areas to ensure luxury standards are consistently maintained.
- Coordinate room readiness with Front Office and other departments.
- Assist with scheduling, staffing, training, and performance management.
- Maintain appropriate levels of linen, supplies, and housekeeping inventory.
- Ensure proper key control and departmental procedures are followed.
- Address guest requests and housekeeping-related concerns promptly.
- Assist with departmental projects and operational initiatives.
- Support the Director of Housekeeping and assume additional responsibility when required.
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping supervisory or management experience in an upscale or luxury hotel.
- Strong understanding of hotel housekeeping operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Hands-on approach with a strong attention to detail.
- Spanish-speaking ability is required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Professional presentation and a genuine commitment to maintaining high guest service standards.
