This 6-month FTC role will see you take ownership of housing budgets, reporting, and financial controls within a leading housing provider.

Our client is a respected and values-driven housing organisation, providing a wide range of housing and community services across the UK. With a strong reputation for supporting tenants and delivering sustainable housing solutions, they are now looking for an interim finance professional to support their housing operations through a period of transformation and change.

Description

  • Take ownership of housing budgets, delivering accurate monitoring, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Lead on housing financial reporting, providing clear insights for senior stakeholders.
  • Manage month-end and year-end processes, ensuring compliance with statutory and organisational deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial controls, reconciliations, and reporting timetables.
  • Support regulatory reporting requirements, including returns to the Regulator for Social Housing.
  • Review and improve financial processes to strengthen efficiency and control.
  • Partner with senior leaders to support strategic planning and service delivery.

Profile

  • Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge with demonstrable housing or social housing finance experience.
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality reporting and financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and support non-finance stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Job Offer

  • 6-month FTC – potential to be extended.
  • £50,000 – £60,000 per annum.
  • Hybrid working – 2 days onsite per week.
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
