Senior Finance Manager – Charity Sector (Part-Time, Remote) – United Kingdom
£40,000 FTE (£24,000 pro rata) | Permanent | 21.75 hours/week
A well-respected national charity is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Finance Manager to join their leadership team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified finance professional who is passionate about making a difference and thrives in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Oversee monthly accounting operations and liaise with external accountants
- Manage audits and statutory accounts
- Monitor programme funding and ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership and trustees
- Support governance and regulatory reporting
Requirements:
- Proven experience in charity finance, including restricted/unrestricted funds
- Strong understanding of financial compliance and reporting standards
- Proficiency in Xero and Excel
- Experience preparing management accounts and budgets
- Accountancy qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA, AAT) or qualified by experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
